What if you could finally start walking, sleeping, sitting down, or even get back to work?  Addressing the pain to stop bawling at 3 AM to finally sleep, and have someone understand you. Don’t have regrets thinking you tried everything possible. Don’t’ wonder what if I would have tried something else. Do what you think is best for yourself and the baby.

We NATURALLY help pregnant women with pain feel empowered to do all their favorite activities and be in control of their bodiesbody again through holistic pain relief for their lower back..

Up until 20 weeks, Sarah’s pregnancy was going fine. She was in pretty good shape, consistently getting up early morning three days a week before work, then the gyms closed and things changed. That’s when the downhill spiral started. It really took a toll on her mentally because of COVID, staying housebound caused her to feel even more exhausted and unmotivated. The uncomfortable sleeping didn’t help at all either. Awakened by having to pee, yet again, she accidentally knocked her glasses onto the floor and that’s when it happened.  When she bent down to pick them up and knew something wasn’t quite right.

She thought she could just ignore the back pain which seemed to get worse over time.  And as time went by, week after week, it’s easy to wonder if this is ever going to get any better.

You see, there is one thing that most women never talk about. Most mothers I meet prioritize everything else above their own needs. Hoping their problems will just get better on their own.  But the truth is, without action, we secretly know change will not happen. You see, we as mothers feel guilty when putting ourselves first and the pain relief we deserve.

Hi I’m Dr. Banik, I am a mother of two beautiful boys and felt this way as well. While I am a dual board-certified physician in Houston who has spoken on the whole mother show twice, been voted top doctor by my peers for the past three years running, and have 15 years of academic training – none of it prepared me personally with the struggle through my pregnancies. First at conception with IVF, moving through pregnancy, delivery, and the difficulties postpartum.

I know first hand the stress of getting pregnant with IVF, remaining pregnant, and miscarriages. All in the hopes of delivering my own child to hold them in my arms. Everywhere I looked everyone was getting pregnant. Sadly, I wasn’t and felt like a failure as a woman. Thankfully, life is much better now, and my hope is to help transform your life as well.

This experience fuels my desire to ensure both mommy and baby are healthy. Whether that is naturally, c-section, or through fertility treatments. Your journey and obstacles are understood and accepted. The end result is still the same.

Is putting yourself first really that selfish? You see, I understand first hand how difficult it can be to ask for help. Many of my pregnant patients feel this way too. Thus, why I love providing help, hope, and assistance. Supporting you through your story during these emotional times. Imagine if life were different and you were able to get back to what you love quicker without the pains of pregnancy taking their toll on your body even after delivery!

In fact, we often see women years later who are still suffering from problems and pains that started during pregnancy or shortly after. So, if you recently gave birth (or are still pregnant) I encourage you to start thinking about addressing the problems that are keeping you from long term health and happiness through natural and holistic pain relief.
If this is happening to you, you are not alone – and we hear this type of thing all the time. In fact, pregnancy / postpartum patients are an area of expertise here in our clinic.

Imagine, It’s Monday and you are off to spin classes or yoga.

At 30 weeks, you are finally at a point where it doesn’t hurt to walk for too long and get up when sitting, despite feeling his head VERY low. Just last week you started walking on your lunch break and possibly sneaking a walk in after work everyday. You also signed up for a fitness challenge three days a week.

It’s like the pain is manageable now. You don’t have to force yourself to get there and the pain in your back is under control. You can walk correctly, and even when you lay down at night to switch positions or open your legs a little it doesn’t hurt. For the first time during this pregnancy you don’t feel like you were letting anyone else down.

Back pain during pregnancy should not put your life on hold or stop you from doing the stuff you love doing. You should be able to move around as freely as you like.

IMAGINE YOURSELF AS A HAPPY, HEALTHY, VIBRANT WOMAN WITH ENERGY FOR YOUR FAMILY, FEELING INCREDIBLE IN YOUR BODY & CONFIDENT IN THE LIFE YOU ARE CREATING..

This doesn’t happen by accident or with more time. Unfortunately, while most women focus on caring for their families they forget to care for themselves and getting the pregnancy pain relief that they deserve..

Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum months (or years) are very demanding on a woman’s body. That is why it’s so important for women to consciously replenish their nutritional stores, energy bank, and support their body in the healing process.

If you are like most of our patients – pregnancy (and postpartum) can be very confusing and because of this, many people just end up frustrated.

The most common misunderstanding we hear from women is thinking many common back pains need to be tolerated during and after pregnancy and that’s why . . .

Why Do We Always Put Others First?

Most mothers I meet prioritize everything else above their own needs, hoping their problems will just get better on their own. But the truth is, without action, we secretly know change will not happen. We, as mothers, feel guilty when putting ourselves first.

But is putting yourself first really that selfish? I understand first hand how difficult it can be to ask for help. Many of my pregnant patients feel this way too. I have found that when I am better taking care of myself, I am better able to care for others. I have so many moms who bring me their child first and tell me, “I wish I knew about you when I was pregnant.” YOU are important. You DESERVE to have your needs addressed too!

My personal experiences as a mom and osteopathic physician are why I love providing help and hope, supporting you through YOUR story during these emotional times. Your journey and obstacles are understood and accepted. Imagine if life were different and you were able to get back to what you love?

In fact, we often see women years later who are still suffering with problems that started during pregnancy or shortly after.
